Converting a legacy reporting program to finance business intelligence

They make it easier, safer and more rewarding for consumers and businesses to purchase the things they need and for merchants to sell their goods and services through innovative payment, travel and expense management solutions.
The American Express technology department in Arizona tasked our organization on an engagement to convert from their legacy reporting application to an enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reporting platform.
Our tasks involved:
- Design and develop a business intelligence platform strategy
- Design and develop centralized reporting data warehouse with ETL process using Informatica
- Design and deploy BI enterprise environments (Dev, QA, and Prod)
- Install and configure intelligent servers and web servers
- Reverse engineer legacy reports and convert to MicroStrategy reports and dashboards
- Implement advanced analytics (forecasting, what-if analysis capabilities) and pattern analysis
The final finance business intelligence platform made it easier for American Express executives to achieve their client needs and business goals.
